A Program Built on Purpose
Forged in Faith isn’t just a collection of activities—it’s a structured discipleship journey designed to engage, challenge, and strengthen youth spiritually, socially, and intellectually. We take inspiration from scripture, real-world application, and hands-on learning to help young people grow into faithful, confident leaders.
Why This Approach?
Many youth programs focus on passive learning, but faith is something that must be lived, tested, and applied. Our program is built on three core principles:
- Scripture as the Foundation – Every challenge, activity, and goal is deeply rooted in gospel principles. Participants don’t just read about faith—they practice it.
- Hands-On, Interactive Learning – Youth engage in real-world challenges that build leadership, self-reliance, and teamwork.
- A Structured Growth Path – Instead of scattered activities, we provide a clear progression that helps youth advance in their faith and skill development.
How It Works
Our program follows a structured four-phase model that makes spiritual and personal growth tangible:
1️⃣ Learn & Apply – Youth begin with scripture-based lessons that introduce key principles of faith, courage, and leadership.
2️⃣ Engage in Challenges – They complete hands-on, real-world challenges that reinforce gospel teachings through action.
3️⃣ Reflect & Discuss – Guided reflection and discussions help them internalize lessons and strengthen testimonies.
4️⃣ Progress & Lead – As participants grow, they take on leadership roles, mentoring others and reinforcing their own learning.
Each phase encourages personal accountability, teamwork, and spiritual reflection, ensuring that youth aren’t just passively consuming knowledge, but actively transforming their faith into lifelong habits.
What It Means for Your Youth
✅ A Stronger Testimony – By living gospel principles through action, youth gain a personal, unshakable conviction of their faith.
✅ Real-World Confidence – The program helps build decision-making skills, resilience, and leadership that prepare them for adulthood.
✅ Lifelong Friendships – By working through challenges together, participants form deep connections that last far beyond the program.
✅ Practical Knowledge – Participants gain practical and usable knowledge that they otherwise may never be exposed to. We include activities that are relevant for today’s youth.
Why Nephi’s Apprentice?
Nephi’s Apprentice is our pilot program, designed as the first step in the Forged in Faith journey. It focuses on developing personal faith, practical skills, and leadership, setting the foundation for future advanced programs like Alma’s Vanguard.
By starting with Nephi’s Apprentice, youth embark on a transformative experience that gives them the tools to lead, serve, and grow in the gospel.
